Natasha believes food plays a huge role in preserving history within both families and communities. Some of her fondest memories growing up were spent in the family kitchen with her parents, paying close attention to their actions. It was during moments like these that precious recipes were passed down from one generation to the next — dishes her grandparents once enjoyed back in India.
As a vegetarian, Natasha has a deep appreciation for the Indian cuisine she grew up with. She finds it easy to discover delicious options, given the abundance of vegetarian dishes. “As a vegetarian, I love anything that has paneer in it. My favorite is tandoori paneer with masala sauce. It has a nice char and texture that I love so much!”
